Mock up of title...

This is mock up title I created, playing around with Photoshop. Since the genre of my film is a psycho-thriller I decided to make a very eerie looking title card/ logo. I thought the lifeline added a very nice touch as it is symbolic of my protagonists state of mind and condition. At the begening of the lifeline its flat (asleep) and it begins to flucuate (woken up) and then goes flat again. After this it flucuates out of control showing the impact of the nightmares. I added the out glow of the lifeline and chose red as it is very symbolic of the dangers that occur in my film idea/trailer, creating and conveying this feeling of uncertainty and psychological condition to my target audience. I made  the lifeline white so it stood out of the black background and to create that ghostly eerie sense of a psychological thriller. The text 'PARADOX' is in capital letters as it is conventional of a title card to have the letters of the title in capitals to make them stand out and geive the effect of leapin to you and printing that title in your mind, so when  you see such titles you will remeber the title and research the film when you get home and spread the word. The font of this title is 'Century Gothic' and i believe is an appropriate font as it is clean and neat and shows the name clearly. In additrion to this, i made it bold so it stood out and look that extra bit more conventional as bold thick letters, as opposed to standard skinny typing letters. I chose to have the font in black to give way for the idea and creation of the white outglow. The 'A' has a neat glow around it and as you get to 'P' and 'X' the glow around it had become disorientated creating a very nice effect and ghostly look to this title. I have decided to stick with this title for the moment as I believe it is appropriate for the time being. I will be surveying this title and see how I can make it better and give more of an impact when see to convey the psychological effect I am attempting to do.
